In this Mad Science of Greater Boston workshop, children ages 6-10 will explore the fundamentals of energy through hands-on activities and demonstrations that demonstrate both potential and kinetic energy. The children will discover that light itself creates energy.
And, they‘ll also investigate how energy can be conserved, discover the simple principles behind the energy of motion, and build their own rubber band powered rattlesnake egg to help learn all about energy.
This 1 hour workshop for ages 6-10 will be held on Saturday, May 17th at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Library. Registration is required. Beginning Monday, May 5th, register online, in person or by calling 617-376-2411.
Due to space limitations, this program is limited to Quincy residents.
