Jazz and Swing Vocalist Krisanthi Pappas and her band, will present a lively concert of jazz and swing standards made popular by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Krall, Michael Buble and the like. Krisanthi has been compared to Diana Krall and Norah Jones by Jazz Times Magazine. Also a Billboard® award winning composer and lyricist, her original songs have been featured in ABC television’s “One Life To Live”, NBC’s “Parenthood” and “Passions”, FOX's "The Mindy Project", as well as in the films "Green River" and “Tying The Not”.
Krisanthi and her band have received rave reviews for her shows at Scullers Jazz Club in Boston, Foxwoods Resort and Casino, Company Theatre in Norwell, Footlighters Theatre in Walpole, The Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro as well as at and many other venues. Krisanthi has recorded five CDs and performs full-time throughout New England and New York City, having opened for Branford Marsalis, Chuck Mangione and many others. Her voice and music have received high accolades from Jazz Times Magazine, Downbeat Magazine, Cabaret Scenes New York, Cabaret Hotline, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Cadence Magazine, and many radio personalities nationwide.
