Weir River Environmental Forum
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
The Weir River Watershed is one of the largest and most productive watersheds in the Boston Harbor area. With approximately 950 acres, it stands apart in terms o its ecological and economical contribution to the area.
The goal of this forum is to strengthen the local network of watershed partners, identify common interests, and prioritize activities. The key note speaker will be John Walsh, Aquarion Vice President of Operations, who will be discussing Aquarion’s water supply. “We look forward to collaborating with local, regional and state organizations to help preserve the wealth of natural resources in the area” he said.
The forum is free of charge and the public is encouraged to attend. Partners include: The Hull Land Conservation Trust, Straits Pond Watershed Association, Hingham Conservation Commission, Weir River Estuary Park, Hingham Land Conservation Trust, Aquarion Water Company and the Weir River Water Association.
