| Description (old) | Two at Two Hundred -- Open House At First Baptist Church and American Antiquarian Society Cost: Free This open house commemorates the bicentennials of both the First Baptist Church and the American Antiquarian Society. The Society will conduct on-going public tours of Antiquarian Hall, display materials related to the War of 1812, and perform a one-person play about the Society’s founder entitled Isaiah Thomas – Patriot Printer at 10:30 a.m. and noon. At the First Baptist Church, professor Stephen A. Marini will deliver a public talk entitled, "Being Baptist in 1812: Theology, Worship, and Politics" at 1 p.m. Marini is the Elisabeth Luce Moore Professor of Christian Studies at Wellesley College.
