Amita Sanghvi is a lecturer by profession. She holds MA from Lancaster University,UK.
She teaches at Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat, Oman, and has presented academic papers in many parts of the world.
Her literary journey as a poet has just begun. She believes poetry heals the soul.
Amita has recently published her book of poems, "Lavender Memories" which describes the impact of Nature on the soul- the mountains, sands and the oceans.
She also has two more forthcoming poetry books and also beginnings of short story collection that she will read and share at the event.
