.Reading Buddies is a one-on-one reading program designed for children grades 1 to 6 to improve English skills by reading to a teen volunteer.  The enrolled children will meet with their helper at a scheduled reading time every week except during school breaks or holidays.

The available reading sessions are: 3:30-4:00PM, 4:15-4:45PM, 5:00-5:30PM, Tuesdays or Wednesdays, January 8, 2014 (tentative start date) through May 28, 2014.  Registration is required. Each child may sign up for one session only. All are welcome, but priorities will be given to children whose reading ability is below average.

Registration must be done in person and starts December 10, 2013.  Bring your child's report card if you want to sign up for priority registration.  Seats are very limited, so sign up as early as possible.
