What is Dyslexia? Virtual Talk for Parents/Teachers/Caretakers
What is dyslexia and what can be done about it?
Between 10-20% of all children struggle to be proficient readers. Thirty years of research on the brain makes it clear that dyslexia is the underlying cause of reading difficulties in many children and adults. As concerned adults, it can be difficult to know how to help children who are not succeeding in school because they are not great readers. This presentation will give you an overview of what dyslexia is and explain the science behind what can be done about it.
There will be time for questions.
