The PBS KIDS ScratchJr program series is designed for families with children ages 5-8 (siblings welcome) and introduces coding to children by giving them a chance to create their own animated stories using PBS KIDS characters. At each session, we will Eat (dinner for all families will be provided), Explore (hands-on exploration of series goals, Make (families work together to create their own projects on the PBS KIDS ScrachJr app and Share (families share out ideas, learn from one another and build a sense of community). Registration required and includes all four sessions. Registration begins October 22 and is available to 10 families.
Monday-Thursday, November 26 (What is a Maker?), November 27 (What is Coding?), November 28 (What is the Design Engineering Process?) and November 29 (Celebrating Families) from 6-8 pm
