Young chefs of any age can join us via Zoom for a monthly make-from-scratch cooking program with a focus on nutritious foods and a related story at the conclusion of the program. This program increases children's math, problem solving, vocabulary and literacy skills, while tying in chemistry, science and geography. Register online for each program your child will be attending, and a Zoom link will be emailed prior to the program.  
November Recipe: Chicken Noodle Soup
Supplies Needed for Program: large pot, cutting board, safe knife for cutting vegetables, vegetable peeler, measuring spoons, wooden spoon
Ingredients Needed:  olive oil, garlic (optional), diced onion (optional), 2 carrots, 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1/2" pieces (please cut before program begins), 2 stalks celery, kosher or regular salt, black pepper, 32 oz. chicken stock (regular or low sodium), 1 cup egg noodles, parsley (optional)
