Creative Writing Studio will give students (Grades 6-12) an overview of several writing genres including fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and scriptwriting. In class, we will spend the first 45 minutes reviewing our previous week’s writing and workshopping pieces with one another. The second hour of the class is dedicated to learning a new writing skill and building upon what we learned in previous weeks. Students will be expected to write outside of class in order to be able to take full advantage of workshopping! We will explore several types of writing in this fun, fast-paced program, so there is truly something for everyone! All writing supplies will be provided.

Each program will be held at the library (outdoors). Should there be inclement weather, the program will move indoors. Registering once will register you for all sessions.
