.NOTE :  This is a new date for this event.
What do you do with the treasures that grow in your backyard?

Sharon from Brilliant Dahlia Flower Farm will host a free event in Goff Hall on how to use your backyard treasures to build a holiday centerpiece.
Participants should bring a small to medium bowl or vessel and small clippers. Mixed greens, pinecones, berries, chicken wire, and glue guns will be
provided. You are encouraged to walk your yard and collect interesting greens or plants to add to your piece or share. Some great finds- spent
clematis blooms, variegated euonymus, winter berry, unusual evergreens, small pinecones, and don't forget about some of those beautiful
perennials that dried out perfectly such as coneflowers. There are so many wonderful things to gather from your garden, it's your chance to let nature
  help you celebrate the season.
Please call the library at 508-252-4236  to register for this event by December 13 at 3:00.

Note: please refrain from bringing invasive species such as barberry, pepperberries and bittersweet, etc. You can visit Mass Audubon for a complete list.
