.

For children of all ages and their families. Don't spend Take the Library to Your Child Day "loafing" around!  Register for a Bread in a Bag kit and follow our kid-friendly recipe for a freshly baked treat.  Registration is required and will open on Saturday, January 16 at 7:00 a.m.  Please be sure to read the information below prior to registering.  Adult supervision is required for the entire duration of this activity.  Kit pickups will take place from Wednesday, February 3 through Saturday, February 6.

Ingredients: Please note that this recipe contains gluten.  Participants' hands may come into contact with the following: rapid rise yeast, flour, water, white sugar, olive oil, salt, and butter or nonstick spray, and since these will be used to make the bread, participants will also consume these ingredients as part of the finished recipe.  Ingredients may have been processed in facilities that also process cow's milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, shellfish, fish, soy and wheat.

Equipment:  Participants should have access to the following items in order to complete the recipe: butter or non-stick cooking spray for greasing pans, a liquid measuring cup, dish towels, a small bowl, a dry measuring cup (1 cup capacity is best), and an oven.
