Are you a caregiver for someone with Alzheimer's disease or another type of dementia?  We will all need some support during this caregiver journey. Maria Tomasetti, South Central Regional Director, Alzheimer's Association, CT Chapter, will share caregiver resources available through the Alzheimer's Association, Agencies on Aging in Connecticut, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. These caregiver resources will include programs that can help to pay for care as well as other important programs and services for caregivers.

Registration is required for this program online and will be conducted through Zoom. To download Zoom, visit your app store or download from Zoom.us to register for a free account. Note: Prior to the event, you will receive a reminder email with the Zoom meeting details and link.

Maria Tomasetti has been with the Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter for 14 years, starting as Helpline Coordinator.  For the past 12 years, she has worked as the South Central Regional Director, providing awareness and caregiver education, facilitating support groups, coordinating our Chapter Respite program, and supporting families through the Helpline and care consultations.  Maria was also the primary caregiver for both of her parents, diagnosed with Alzheimer's-type dementia.
