All ages can “Learn to Finger Knit”!

In less than an hour, this fast and fun knitting project will show someone how much you care by making a finger-knit heart ornament. Sewing and knitting instructor, Dawn Zillich, leads this virtual program that will be held via Zoom. Registration required online or by calling the Library's Reference Desk at 203-736-1482 to receive a packet of basic supplies with instructions needed complete the craft. Feel free to embellish as you see fit using materials you have at home

 Packets will be available for vestibule pickup on January 28 and 29. No experience necessary. Max 15 attendees. Best suited for grades 5 and older.

Materials needed:

250” of worsted weight yarns

One pipe cleaner/chenille stem

Ruler

Scissors
