Shade Gardening – dappled to dense - what can you get to grow in all that shade?

How do you add color and interest and support wildlife? Join this presentation to hear how to determine your garden’s particular sun to shade characteristics, get ideas on what will grow there, and how to incorporate native plants into your gardens and why they are important for wildlife.

Presented by Barbara Thomas, Certified Master Gardener, Member of Monroe Conservation & Water Resources Commission, and Secretary of Monroe Land Trust & Tree Conservancy. She is currently creating a pollinator garden on approximately 1/3 acre in Great Hollow Lake at Wolfe Park and works part-time tending gardens for Monroe Parks & Rec.
