A 4-part discussion over 4 weeks of Louisa May Alcott's novel, Little Women, lead by Joanne Holcomb. Joanne retired in 2015 after 35 years as an English teacher and 7-12 English/ Language Arts Department Head in the Falmouth Public Schools. This class meets Mondays, April 6, 13 & 27 and May 4, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Registration is required. Is Louisa May Alcott's tale of the March sisters still relevant today, 151 years after it was written? We will practice shared inquiry in the discussion of Alcott's story. Through questioning, sharing ideas, and discussing our own interpretation, we will explore the ideas, themes, and topics of this classic novel.
