Code Club Showcase Day is February 26th.
Do you have a project that you've been working on or have finished, that you'd like to show to the rest of the club? Today's your opportunity to do so. We'll have a projector set up for coders to demonstrate what fun and exciting ideas they've come up with. Pizza will be provided, and we'll have Ozobots available to experiment with, as well. Ozobots are small, programmable robots that react to lines and colors, and can perform lots of different functions.
Coding and computer science are a new kind of digital literacy, and libraries all over the U.S. are stepping up to help everyone build 21st century skills. We’re launching our very own Code Club -- No coding expertise necessary. Your kids can learn important tech skills and have fun along the way. They’ll work on learning how to make websites, video games, apps, animations, and more! Code Club will meet every Wednesday starting January 15th from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Shipman Room. Every few weeks we’ll host a coding showcase. For ages 8-18. Code Club is made possible by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Science
