Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker

Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker," the story of a young girl's journey to a magical land on Christmas Eve, is perhaps not only the composer's most famous work but also one of the most famous ballets of all time.

As the clock chimes midnight, a brave young girl turns the tide in a battle between toy soldiers and mischievous mice, and a blizzard of ballerinas reveals a wonderful world of confection.

Tchaikovsky's beloved holiday ballet comes home with sumptuous sets and costumes and the dazzling dance artistry of the New York City Ballet's Melissa Hayden, Edward Villella and Patricia McBride.
