In this Snapology Moonbase activity, students build a robotic model of the Sun, Earth, and Moon system using LEGO bricks. They will then program the model to show how the Earth revolves around the Sun and the Moon around the Earth. Students learn that the Sun is a star and some additional characteristics about the Sun, Earth, and Moon.
This program is suitable for children in grades 2-5 and will take place at the Main Building.
Registration begins 4/10 at 10am. Please use your child's Library card to register.
Please register for only one time and location: EITHER the 4pm program at the Main Building on 4/24 or the 4pm session at the Station Branch on 4/26.
