For the Fall of 2021 only, visit the Goffstown Public Library to experience the A River Runs Through Us: Community Art Exhibit. The Second Floor of the Library has been transformed into gallery space to display art from local artists and the personal collections of community members. Each piece uniquely answers the question: What does the Merrimack River mean to you? Walk through the exhibit at your leisure using the self-guided tour brochure and contemplate the place of the Merrimack River in your life.

This event is a part of the Gregory J. Grappone '04 Humanities Institute at Saint Anselm College's 2021-2022 BIG THOUGHT series: A River Runs Through Us. The series is a year-long exploration of the geographical, ecological, biological, historical, economic, and cultural relationship we all share with the Merrimack River. The many events are designed to help us understand the profound and ubiquitous power that the Merrimack River has in our lives, and to reflect upon the power and presence water has in shaping and sustaining our humanity.
