Zentangle

START: 04/23/2019 06:00 PM

END: 04/23/2019 08:00 PM

DESCRIPTION:

Discover your inner artist with the meditative Zentangle® Method of creating artwork through structured patterns. We'll draw simple lines and shapes to create stunning pieces of art that encourage relaxation, focus, and mindfulness. No previous experience necessary for this hands-on workshop. Presented by Emily Classon, Certified Zentangle Teacher.

Emily Classon is an artist, librarian, and homeschool teacher. She lives in Tyngsboro with her family and lizard. She has explored a wide variety of crafts from scrapbooking and card making to jewelry design.

After falling in love with Zentangle art and practice, she became a Certified Zentangle Teacher in August of 2012.

For Emily, Zentangle is a great way to reduce stress, to center herself when her mind is swirling with thoughts, and to inspire creativity. When creating Zentangle art, she achieves the same clarity and calmness that She gets practicing yoga or meditation.
