“The Current Top Dirty Dozen Scams in New Hampshire”
Presented by Sunny Mulligan Shea, NH-Attorney General Advocate Office of Victim & Witness Assistance & Marc A. Boyd AARP-NH

The AARP-NH & NH Attorney General Office Presentation of “The Top Current Dirty Dozen Scams in New Hampshire” is coming to the Jaffrey Library courtesy of Jaffrey M & T Bank on March 14, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 am.

According to an analysis by Atlas VPN, Americans reported to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) a record $3.56 billion lost to online fraud in the first six months of 2022—a nearly 50 percent increase from the same period a year ago.  This is just from online scams.

Every day, millions of Americans lose their hard-earned money to identity theft, investment fraud and other types of scams.  And that is why The AARP-NH & NH Attorney General Office is presenting this topical and very relevant program for the residents of the Jaffrey area.

The program will be presented by Sunny Mulligan Shea, NH-Attorney General Advocate Office of Victim & Witness Assistance & AARP trained “Fraud Fighter” Marc Boyd.  They will share with you the current top twelve scams happening in the state now.  They will offer suggestions and how to deal with the scams, how to report them, and provide an opportunity for audience participation and questions.

Registration appreciated.
