.True Repertory Theatre, in collaboration with the Kingston Public Library, is proud to present A.R. Gurney’s comedy “Love Letters.” Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the show will take place on Friday, February 14th @ 8pm, Saturday, February 15th @ 3pm and 8pm and Sunday, February 16th @ 3pm. at The Adams Center, 33 Summer St. in Kingston.

“Love Letters” is a tender tragicomedy composed of letters exchanged over a lifetime between Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. The play is a nuanced examination of shared nostalgia, missed opportunities, and the deep closeness of two lifelong, complicated friends.

True Rep Founder/Artistic Director Donald Sheehan will direct and is also part of the ensemble which will include many of True Rep’s resident acting company. Two different actors will perform at each of the four shows.
