This one man performance showcases popular American music from 1895 through 1960. David Polansky will bring alive the music of George M. Cohan, Irving Berlin, Fats Waller, George Gershwin, Hoagy Carmichael, and others.

David is an accomplished trumpet player, composer, and children's performer. His instrumental and choral pieces have been performed by the Springfield (MA) Symphony, The Zamir Chorale, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, and many others. He has worked with Arthur Fiedler, Sandler and Young, Phyllis Diller, Henny Youngman, Ray Bolger, The Platters, and The Coasters. Travel with David on this musical tour through the decades and experience some of America’s defining music.

The concert is free and open to the public. Light refreshments and coffee provided by Starbucks of South Nashua.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Pepperell Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. Additional funding provided by the Friends of the Lawrence Library.
