Ledyard resident, Jean Scialabba will demonstrate how to make compost. For 30 years she has been composting with worms and giving classes on this subject to people of all ages. She loves to introduce her "red wigglers" and share with everyone what an important job they have. She will tell us about the technique of indoor composting and how to reuse our kitchen waste so that it is turned into "gardener's gold". She always brings a few hundred of her worm friends so that anyone who would like to have a hands on experience can do so.
