The Department of Municipal Services and Greenscapes North Shore will present a free public workshop to educate the community about the importance of controlling stormwater runoff. Learn how and why stormwater is polluted, its direct impacts on our water resources, and what can be done locally to treat and eliminate stormwater, including landscaping and gardening techniques, rainwater harvesting, and low impact development. The presentation will also include a brief explanation of how stormwater is regulated.
