Find out what makes robots work, and explore some of the ways they can move things around by building a cardboard robot hand that curves around objects! Instructor Kathy Ceceri will discuss the systems that make up a robot and demonstrate projects from her book BOTS! Robotics Engineering with Hands-On Makerspaces Activities.
To follow along with the online workshop, have these materials ready: 2 (two) pieces of letter-sized stiff paper, such as cardstock or construction paper, pen, a ruler or straightedge for drawing straight lines, scissors, tape, and paper straw.
