Description (old) Do you want to increase the shelf life of your most popular titles? For any library carrying books, book repair is a fundamental skill for technical services departments. Join us for this hands-on intensive where you will learn these useful practices: tipping in pages, hinge repair, corner strengthening and two techniques of page repair. Attendees are expected to bring damaged books and a selection of basic supplies (a list will be provided to registrants).  Class size is limited, so sign up early. Gregor Trinkaus-Randall of the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners will lead this instruction.
