This hands-on workshop will allow library staff to try the speed reading method used by many Readers' Advisory practitioners. Learn how and why this method works — then try it yourself! Participants should bring a book that they would NOT read for pleasure (200-300 pgs) to try out this method. The workshop will end with a discussion on results (and frustrations) with the process. You can't read every book in the library, but by learning this valuable RA skill, you can read a lot more!
