Looking for ideas to jumpstart or expand computer and technology-based classes in your library? Need ideas on how to get your colleagues on board to teach? As the Library for the Commonwealth, the Boston Public Library has you covered! Jessica Elias, Curriculum Development Coordinator at BPL, will share her experiences creating fun, creative teaching tools and workshops for adult learners as well as examples of curriculum that is publicly accessible for instructors. This workshop will also go over some of the BPL's Research Guides that are perfect for utilizing in the classroom. At the end of her session, participants are welcome to share their challenges and successes of providing computer instruction in their branches.

This session will be held in The Classroom, Community Learning Center on the Mezzanine Level at the Boston Public Library.

If attending both sessions, you must register for each separately and please bring a brown bag lunch.
