Libraries serve people with all types of skill and abilities, and our services should be designed intentionally to allow all our community members to participate. This skillshare session will focus on how to create intentionally inclusive programs that meet the needs of all library patrons, from identifying community need to adapting existing library programs. Participants should bring at least one program idea, article, or example to the session to share with others, either from their own library experience or from their reading on the topic. After an overview presentation on relevant issues and resources, participants will have the opportunity to learn from each other and hear about programs that have been successful in other libraries. Topics and ideas from the skillshares will be collected and saved on a MLS Guide for future reference.
