Add this Event to Calendar 07/29/2014 01:30 PM 07/29/2014 03:30 PM Internet Tools and Power Searching [Pittsfield]

The Internet has changed vastly since its conception in 1958.  Web pages have gone from static pages listing directories or basic information to dynamic, interactive sites for research, sharing, and video conferencing.

Catch-up, become an expert. In this session, we will explore the multitude of (free) and simple online tools for getting the most out of the Internet for you and your library.

In this workshop, you will also learn to search like an expert.

Bring your own device if you prefer: please indicate when registering.  Laptops and tablets available for all sessions.

This workshop will be led by Rita Gavelis, LibAssist - http://www.libassist.com/, rita@libassist.com.
