MLS has purchased two site licenses for this ALA webinar. Please join us in our Marlborough office for this group viewing of the Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies division’s new webinar on how to effectively market and advocate for the library to elected officials.

From ALA: Marketing and Advocacy: Explaining Libraries to Elected Officials, taught by Paula Laurita, Director of Athens-Limestone Public Library, blends library marketing and advocacy into easy, applicable methods on a low budget for all types of libraries. Participants will learn how to easily communicate the library’s mission, how to advocate for the library and how the library can be advocated for on behalf of community members. New and seasoned library staff working in marketing, outreach or building support will benefit from this session. You can find more information about this webinar here.

Stay for discussion after the webinar. Seats are limited, please register early. The webinar is offered by ALA and will not be recorded by MLS.
