| Description (old) | November is Family Literacy month. Join your fellow children's librarians to discuss early and family literacy. We'll talk a bit about Every Child Ready to Read as well as Reach Out and Read, a recent partnership between BPL and the Boston Medical Center. Participants can bring their family literacy program successes and ideas to the table. This roundtable will be led and facilitated by Jessi Snow, Youth Services Coordinator, Boston Public Library Family Literacy Roundtables will also be held (10-12): November 1 - Boston Public Library November 13 - Sharon Public Library November 19 - Harvard Public Library November 27 - Monson Free Library November 29 - Haverhill Public Library Family Literacy Workshop: November 8 - Interactive Early Literacy Learning Centers: From Grand Places to Table Top Spaces [Marlborough] |
