Add this Event to Calendar 12/09/2020 07:00 PM 12/09/2020 08:15 PM Sparking Our Light: All About Chanukah’s Customs, Traditions, and Values (Virtual Program)

Rabbi Ron Symons and Melissa Hiller from the JCC’s Center for Loving Kindness guide a conversation around the story behind Chanukah’s festival of lights and the holiday’s customs and traditions. Their conversation also connects Chanukah to social justice values and standing up for neighbors.

Rabbi Ron Symons and Melissa Hiller work collaboratively on the JCC’s Center for Loving Kindness and Civic Engagement in order to redefine neighbor from a geographic term to a moral concept.
