Add this Event to Calendar 11/07/2020 09:00 AM 11/07/2020 12:00 PM Fall Volunteer Clean-Up Day!
Grab your rake and a pair of gloves to help us tidy up the exterior grounds of our lovely library.
We are so lucky to have many faithful and hard-working volunteers take care of our beautiful and historic property. Hope to see you then!
We are planning a volunteer day for Saturday, November 7 at the MNL for garden and grounds cleanup.  Because of the importance of following Covid-19 guidelines, we need to be mindful of keeping social distance and either wearing a face covering or having one available if we are in close proximity.  We also need to provide our own tools.
Projects will include
  • Raking and blowing leaves off lawn, walkways and patios and picking up black walnuts and any fallen branches and sticks
  • Weeding all areas, including inside and outside "chiller"
  • Cleaning up beds near birdbath on Baptist Church side of property
  • Cleaning up leaves, vines and garbage from parking lot
  • Weedwacking
  • Vines out of trees in back lot
  • Cleaning up daylillies, hostas, etc before winter
Helpful tools:
Rake, weeding tools, containers to carry weeds and leaves, clippers, weedwacker
