This class is for students in Grades 1-6 who know how to play chess, understand the rules of chess, and can create a basic chess plan.  Chess enhances reading and math skills and provides long-term skills for children to think critically and plan strategically. Intermediate chess skills, tactic structure, opening moves, and function of the pieces will be introduced by way of live chess instruction, chat, and group play.

This is a two-day course held on Thursday, June 29th & Thursday, July 6th from 6:30PM-7:30PM.
