Ages 3.5 to 6 years old

Story Time Chess Level 1 is designed to teach chess basics through the power of stories.

This first 8 week session introduces children to the "characters", chess pieces and how they move and capture.The session also stresses the importance of chess manners, such as taking turns and saying, "good game" at the end of each session. 

(Level 2 of Story Time Chess begins to teach chess strategy through the power of stories.)
