Add this Event to Calendar 09/26/2022 11:00 AM 09/26/2022 12:00 PM Sensory Storytime with Service Dog in Training, Dustin @ Bridgeville
Join us for a special Sensory Storytime where we do all of our fun rhymes and songs, but we have a special guest! Dustin, a Future Service Dog in Training, and his puppy raiser, Lisa Forgas. We'll be reading a special book and talking about Service Dogs and how to greet dogs and their owners.

Dustin is a future service dog in training, and will be taught 30 commands, while getting to enjoy play time and social time as he trains with Lisa for sixteen months. He will then enter Professional Training for six months. You can learn more about the non-profit organization here that provides these amazing dogs:

Canine Companions provides service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities. We also provide facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings. Since our founding in 1975, all dogs and all follow-up services are provided at no cost to our clients.
