Join our new cooking club! We have partnered with Southern New England Spice Company, a local organization who will be providing us with a spice/seasoning sample to try each month. Registered participants will receive a sample to cook with at home and then we will gather together to share our thoughts, cooking tips, & recipes.
Our next meeting will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 11am. It will be a hybrid style meeting, which means you can join us in person at Gaylord or virtually via Zoom. Space is limited to 15 participants. Sign up now and pick up your sample seasoning packet between October 15-30 during our regular hours.
This month: Ethiopian Berbere Spice
This Ethiopian Berbere Spice can be used as a dry rub or blended with oil or water to create a flavorful paste. It’s essential for traditional Ethiopian dishes, or tasty as a rub for grilled vegetables, fish and poultry. If you like food spicy hot, try on grilled chicken, duck, and beef.
