Looking for something crafty to do on a hot summer afternoon? Join seasoned basket maker and teacher, Susan Phillips, for a hands-on class to learn the basics of basket weaving. You will weave a flat reed basket using simple tools and naturally grown materials. A brief overview of basket making and the various materials used will be provided. No experience is necessary and all materials, supplies, and equipment will be provided. Susan Phillips has been a basket maker for 40 years and taught basket weaving at Heldeberg Workshop.
