< VIRTUAL & IN-PERSON MEETING >*
On Beauty by Zadie Smith
When the conservative rival of a liberal art historian and professor accepts an invitation as a guest lecturer at the Massachusetts college where the professor is up for tenure, the wives of the two men become friends and their children become romantically involved. Smith's homage to E.M. Forster's Howard's End won the Women's Prize for Fiction in 2006.
