This one-on-one reading assistance program is for children in grades 1-6. It is provided by our high quality teen volunteers. Choose one from the six reading periods: 3:15-3:45pm, 4:00-4:30pm, 4:45-5:15pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Program runs from October through May with some breaks following the calendar of Fremont School District.
Yearly registration is required and starts September 1st, 2009.
To register, parents must call or come in person during Centerville Library's open hours: Tue. 1-8pm, Thurs. 11am-6pm. Seats are limited and fill up very quickly so register as early as possible.

Drop-in story-telling program for children ages 2-6. Centerville Library's trained teen volunteers read stories to children (and their parents) to discover the fun and love of reading.
This year-round storytime will take place every Thursday between 3:30 and 4:30 PM with a few short breaks. Children can listen to as many stories as they want. Parents must stay in the library.

For 18-35 month olds, Toddler Time happens on 4 Fridays per session. This session begins October 30th, 2009 and goes through November 20th. Each child needs a lap for special one-on-one attention while we read, sing, dance, and learn baby sign language! Registration is required. This session is full. We will not hold Toddler Time again until the first Friday in January, we will take registration requests at the end of December. Check back here then.

For 18-35 month old children, we will have the space, some toys, and the society of other children available to your child. No babysitter is available, this is time for you and your child to socialize. This is a drop-in event, no registration is necessary. Please understand we will have Preschool Storytime directly after so we will need the space back by 11:30.

Toddler Art returns with fun-filled art activities for your little ones. Children under the age of 5 are welcome to join us in our projects every month. Each month we'll have a new activity, like finger painting, chalk drawings and more. Please make sure to wear clothing that can get dirty as we often make a mess!
