This is a one-on-one reading program for children in grades 1-6. Children meet with their trained teen volunteer weekly to improve reading. Choose one from the six reading periods: 3:30-4:00pm, 4:15-4:45pm, 5:00-5:30pm on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Program runs from the first week of October through the end of May with some breaks.
Priorities will be given to children whose reading ability is below average. To get on the priority list, please provide last year's report card or other reference during registration. Priority registration must be done in person.
For general registeration, parents please call or come in person to speak with a reference librarian during Centerville Library's open hours: Tue. 1-8pm, Thurs. 11am-6pm. Seats are limited and fill up very quickly so register as early as possible.
Registration is required and starts Tuesday, September 3rd, 2013
