		The Friends are a volunteer community organization, keenly interested in books and libraries. They work to focus public attention on the Dublin Library and to raise funds for the Library. The Friends sponsor two booksales a year, publish a newsletter, sell promotional items, and promote the library during community events such as the Day on the Glen. In addition to their two large book sales each year, they have an ongoing book sale in the lobby of the Library. Rare and collectible books are sold online and offered for silent auction. Funds from booksales support library programming, the adult book discussion groups, Dublin Reads, the Homework Center, and other services and equipment needs of the Library. 		The Friends are a volunteer community organization, keenly interested in books and libraries. They work to focus public attention on the Dublin Library and to raise funds for the Library. The Friends sponsor two booksales a year, publish a newsletter, sell promotional items, and promote the library during community events such as the Day on the Glen. In addition to their two large book sales each year, they have an ongoing book sale in the lobby of the Library. Rare and collectible books are sold online and offered for silent auction. Funds from booksales support library programming, the adult book discussion groups, Dublin Reads, the Homework Center, and other services and equipment needs of the Library.
