TAX ASSISTANCE

Free Tax Assistance is available at the Dublin Library every Saturday, beginning February 6th and continuing until Saturday, April 10th from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the Group Study room. There will be no appointments on Saturday, February, 13, 2010 and Saturday, March 13, 2010.
This program is jointly sponsored by the IRS and AARP. Trained volunteers will assist with U.S. Federal and California State income tax and e-filing.
Appointments are available for morning and afternoon sessions. Starting January 14, 2010, call the Dublin Library at 925-803-7275 during normal open hours or sign up at the Reference Desk. Drop in's with no appointment are welcome at anytime from 10:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and will be served on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability of volunteer staff.

Knit One, Purl Two

The Dublin Library will host a free knitting workshop for adults on March 20. Join a group of experienced knitters who will provide ideas and instruction. Bring your current project and provide inspiration to fellow knitters in the community. Bring an abandoned or difficult project and receive encouragement and advice from someone with more experience. Bring some yarn that you would like to swap. Needles and yarn will be available for beginners.
