Welcome to the San Lorenzo Library's afterschool homework program. Teenage volunteers assist younger students with homework assignments. A teacher from the SLZUSD is present at all times to oversee the program. This is a wonderful way to make sure your student spends their afternoon productively. This program is a partnership between the SLZUSD and the San Lorenzo Library.

Math Tutoring for Teens

Tzu Chi Foundation, U.S.A. offeres free math tutoring for teens in the subject areas of Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus or Calculus. Tutors of this program are either college students of college graduates in the scientific fields. The tutorial program for this semester ends on May 18, 2013.

Mandala Paper Quilt Workshop

This fun workship for families will be led by Teaching Artist Lilli Lanier. This project uses basic traditional kirigami paper cutting techniques to create colorful, layered, mandala quilt squares. All ages welcome, and all materials will be provided. You'll see the quilt makers when you enter the Library. See you there.
