He has been researching and writing on local history since 2000.

For over 1 00 years a sugar beet factory existed in Alvarado, California.

               The factory was founded by Ebenezer H. Dyer and his family built and ran the plant for a number of years.
 
                    From this, E. H. Dyer created a business of building sugar beet factories around the world.

Axis Community Health is a community health center that provides medical care, mental health counseling and addiction counseling services for everyone in the community through their clinics located in Pleasanton and Livermore. They serve low

income clients who have no other access to health care.  A representative from Axis will be at the Dublin Library once a month, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm,  offering information and assistance on  Covered California, open

enrollment and Medi-cal.  Find out more about them at their website, www.axishealth.org. No appointment is necessary, this is an informal drop-in and chat at a table that will be set up in the lobby of the library.
