TriValley CoderDojo is a part of the larger CoderDojo global movement of free computer coding clubs for young people ages 8-17 years old. TriValley CoderDojo, or TriV for short, is based in Dublin but open to youth in the surrounding TriValley area and beyond. Monthly sessions are held on the first Wednesday of each month with additional sessions added on occasion.  Meetings are in the Community Room at the Dublin Library. Monthly sessions offer an optional community sharing period from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The coding session begins at 7:00 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. The community sharing period allows members to get set up, meet up with their friends, and share their projects. Sessions are free, but tickets are required due to limited capacity. Come join the fun! To become a member and get involved, just complete the membership form. You will then be on the mailing list and receive registration notices for upcoming TriV meetings and events.

The TriV Coderdojo covers the following:

Stitch 'n Inch meets in the Conference Room every other Saturday. You may bring your own needles or hooks to learn, or borrow straight knitting needles and yarn. Colette is proficient at using double-pointed needles, but if you want to learn how to make hats, socks or both, you'll need to buy yourself a set.

Lantern Riddle Game is a fun game played on the 15th day of the first lunar month to end the celebration of Chinese New Year. Starting February 21st through 26th, everyone is welcome to stop by the Newark Library to solve the riddles and receive a prize during the Game's open hours. One prize per day per person. Riddles are in English or Chinese and will be on display in the Children's Area. Choose any riddle you like to solve.

The Lantern Riddle Game is open during these hours:
Saturday, February 21, 10:30am-5:00 pm.; Monday, February 23, 3:30-8:00 pm.; Tuesday, February 24, 3:30-8:00 pm.; Wednesday, February 25, 3:30-6:00 pm.; Thursday, February 26, 3:30-6:00 pm.

Let's Chat began in 2010 before the REACH Center was built and is now in its fourth year. Let's CHAT Alcohol and other Drugs (AOD) are 17 youth experts in their own experiences who have the power to effect change in this community. Visit San Lorenzo Library today to greet the week-long installation of posters that represent their work. This informal "kick off" event will offer the community a chance to meet the group of young people who created these posters. REACH Ashland Youth Center, part of Alameda County Health Care Services, will serve light snacks and introduce the photos, the project and the mission of the group. TriValley CoderDojo is a part of the larger CoderDojo global movement of free computer coding clubs for young people ages 8-17 years old. TriValley CoderDojo, or TriV for short, is based in Dublin but open to youth in the surrounding TriValley area and beyond. Monthly sessions are held on the first Wednesday of each month with additional sessions added on occasion.  Meetings are in the Community Room at the Dublin Library. Monthly sessions offer an optional community sharing period from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The coding session begins at 7:00 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. The community sharing period allows members to get set up, meet up with their friends, and share their projects. Sessions are free, but tickets are required due to limited capacity. Come join the fun! To become a member and get involved, just complete the membership form. You will then be on the mailing list and receive registration notices for upcoming TriV meetings and events.

The Library is open during the festival for regular operating hours.  Those hours are 10am - 5pm on Saturday and 1:00 - 5:00 pm on Sunday.  For your convenience, due dates on Dublin Library materials have been extended to Monday, March 16 so no materials will be due over the festival weekend. 

A LIBRARY DROP OFF will be located in the Sports Grounds parking lot on Dublin Blvd., both Saturday and Sunday.  A volunteer with the City will accept your returns and deliver them to the Library that same day.

Monthly sessions are held on the first Wednesday of each month with additional sessions added on occasion.  Meetings are in the Community Room at the Dublin Library. Monthly sessions offer an optional community sharing period from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The coding session begins at 7:00 pm and ends at 8:30 pm. The community sharing period allows members to get set up, meet up with their friends, and share their projects. Sessions are free, but tickets are required due to limited capacity. Come join the fun! To become a member and get involved, just complete the membership form.
