Dublin Library Homework Help

Students in grades 3 to 8 can drop by and receive help on their after school assignments from teen volunteers. Help is available Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Library.
No signups are required, but each child will be given a permission slip at their first visit, for their parent/guardian to sign and return.
Parents, please note that the Homework Center is not child care and cannot substitute for professional tutoring.
For Online, Live Homework help try Homework Help Now! offered by Brainfuse.
This service offers one-to-one tutoring with live, online Instructors. Tutor and student meet in an online "classroom" and chat. All core subjects are covered for grades 3-12 including math, science, social studies, English/language arts, writing assistance and reading assistance.

All students in grades K-12 are invited to Union City Library for free homework help in all subjects. The center is open Monday-Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 except on school or County holidays. The starting date is September 14th and it runs through the end of May.
Homework assistance is provided by teen volunteers under the supervision of 2 adult coordinators. Help is available in Spansih and English languages. Paper, pencils, calculators, laptops, and some textbooks are available for student use.
The homework center is funded by Alameda County Libraries and is a free program. No registration is necessary. Parents of students in grades K-4 are requested to remain in the building while their children are in the Homework Center. Find it Fast! - Webclass for Students in Grades 4-6

This is a free, one hour, hands on workshop, using laptop computers. Students will learn the basics of using the library catalog, Kidsplace (website for students) and databases to help with their homework. Registration necessary and begins Monday January 4 at 1 p.m.
