Celebrate the bond between mothers and daughters at our very popular Mother-Daughter Tea, hosted by the Friends of the Library. Grandmothers welcome, too! Enjoy tea, dainty sandwiches and delicate desserts along with special entertainment. Girls ages 5 and up, please. Event is limited to 40 participants. Paid registration is required at the Circulation desk by April 25. Friends of ALPL registration begins April 2, adult fee is $7 and girls are FREE. General public registration begins April 9, adult fee is $10 and girls are $5.

Bring your knitting or crocheting project and enjoy the company of fellow needlework enthusiasts. Presenter Valerie Dillard will be available to help those who need assistance. Beginners are welcome. Bring knitting needles (size 9 or 10) or a crochet hook (size G or H). Ages 16 and up.

Each session will focus on a particular topic or database, including Ancestry, FamilySearch, and MYHeritage.
